"Disruptions brings together 86 screenshots taken between April 24, 2015 and June 23, 2017, during several WhatsApp video conversations with my mother and family in Gaza." 

“Pixelized images, disrupted by poor connection, plunge us into a space where family communication is marked by conflict. The screenshots are dated. A possible connection is established between the disturbed conversation and the violent events taking place simultaneously in Gaza. The artist thus delivers a part of this common intimacy that stretches between two territories.”
